The History of Cosmo's Service Center

Cosmo's Service Center was established in 1957 in West Babylon by Cosmo Barbieri. Comso follwed the American dream. Cosmo was World War Two veteran, and apart of the greatest generation of Americans. He opened Comos service center as a City gas/Citgo on 3rd street in West Babylon where he served his local community with pride for 20 years. 

Decades of Trust: Serving Generations of West Babylon Families

In 1977 Comso ventured to build a new state of the art facility on Herzel Blvd. Still in his hometown of West Babylon. For the past 4 decades, Cosmos Service Center has been working on generations of West Babylon familes vehicles. Cosmos son Joe Barbieri eventually took over the family business and carried on the legacy of his Father. Joe, just like his father took pride in serving his hometown. Joe and the rest of the Cosmos crew were trusted by thousands of families for their auto repair needs.

Bobby and Jesse Uphold Cosmo's Legacy

Eventually, Joe made the difficult decision to retire. Joe knew he had to sell his family business to people he knew and trusted. Most importantly, he wanted someone who would take care of business that bore his Fathers name. He wanted someone who would take care of his customers like he had always done and like his father Comso had.

Bobby and Jesse knew Joe for nearly 20 years. Bobby and Jesse both live and work in West Babylon. Right next door to Cosmos Service Center is Frontline Auto Sales. Bobby and Jesse have been serving the local communnity with the same passion that Joe and his Father have. We are honored to be able to carry on the legacy left by Cosmo and his son Joe.
